KCC Park
The site
for the VicNationals is KCC Park, the
Victorian Canine Association HQ
at Western
Port Hwy, Skye, approx. 38 km from Melbourne.
Even though it is a
fair distance from Melbourne, access to KCC Park is very easy using the freeway
system, including the CityLink which is an electronic toll system.

DIRECTIONS
Driving From South Australia:
Via Western Highway (Bordertown,
Horsham, Ballarat).
This would be the quickest route to Melbourne. It involves
travelling along the Western Freeway and then turning right onto the Western
Ring Rd. At the Princes Freeway/Westgate Freeway interchange, follow the signs
to the Westgate Freeway. You will go over the Westgate Bridge (Yarra River) and
with the Melbourne CBD on your left you will enter the Citylink Burnley Tunnel.
You will continue on Citylink which becomes the Monash Freeway.
Via Calder Highway (Renmark,
Mildura, Bendigo)
Via Princess
Highway/Great Ocean Rd (Mt Gambier, Geelong)
Driving From New
South Wales:
Via Hume Highway/ (Albury,
Seymour)
This involves travelling on the Hume highway, Western Ring Rd, Tullamarine
Freeway, City Link. See City Link Details
Flying into Melbourne
(Tullamarine):
All Qantas, Virgin
and most JetStar flights terminate at Tullamarine Airport. Assuming a hire car
is the go, simply proceed along the Tullamarine freeway towards Melbourne, using
directions as detailed for Hume Highway (Tullamarine Freeway)
Flying into Melbourne
(Avalon):
JetStar have some flights terminating at Avalon Airport which is
on the Princess Highway approx. 55 Km SW of Melbourne. Assuming a hire car is
the go, then proceed to Melbourne along the highway using directions as detailed
for Princess Highway/Great Ocean Rd.
